How to build backlinks by commentings in websites or blog which have CommentLuv plugin enabled.

Have you wondered why you don’t get Search Engines visitors? If you have been quite a while in blogging world, you must know how to get backlinks fast by commenting in a dofollow blogs. This will help your blog rank higher in Search Engines Result Page.

Of course you can still submit your posts to high PR dofollow social bookmarking sites too.

It is very recommended that you build links naturally, to avoid being flagged as spam in Google.

I mean, having new links 200-300 a day is too much.

To follow this tutorial, you should first be a member of CommentLuv site.

Because if you haven’t, you don’t have to follow this tutorial, the link to your post will be automatically added.

The downside if you are not registered is, you can only choose one link.

If you are registered, you will be able to choose which link you want to leave in the blog you have posted your comment.

See this image below, because i am registered, i can choose which post link i want.

Options of Post Links.

If you are already registered, notice when you post a comment the link URL will be like, “feedproxy.google.com/~r/..” instead of “yourdomain.com/post-link”.

Watch my explanation video how you can waste your links if you don’t use this chance properly:

  • Is my site loading fast? I use this shared hosting
  • Try my theme >

You may want to fix it with this awesome tutorial from seommotips.com

I do very agree with you.

Comment Luv is a great way not only to get backlinks but to get more readers and writers to your website. I am also a member 🙂

    • Kimi says

      November 3, 2010 at 7:18 pm

      Hey Joshua,

I do agree with you, it is great to have backlinks, but also not so reliable, because the owners can remove the plugins whenever they want 🙂

Great to hear you are a member, i am a member too 🙂

Thank you for leaving a comment.

I think CommentLuv is a godsend to good bloggers everywhere!

And I’ll admit, I’m far more likely to comment at new blogs that has that plugin installed. It’s simply my preference.

    • Kimi says

      November 3, 2010 at 7:26 pm

      Hey Barbara, I agree.

But we have to be careful with spammy comments or links if we have this plugin installed.

From commenters’s point of view, those backlinks are not too reliable, because we don’t know whether the blog’s owner will remove the plugin or keep it.

I hope they will keep it LOL.

Thanks for commenting, have a nice day!

    Hi Kimi, me again,

I love comment Luv, and I love the idea of do follow blog comment links, no follow links work fine for me as well, I’m not a racist 🙂

I wish people would do networking more for the sake of networking and promoting some blogger love instead of just creating backlinks, but that probably sounds suspicious coming from an SEO like me!

    • Kimi says

      November 4, 2010 at 6:46 pm

      Hey Zarko,

It is a common fact that blog which has commentluv enables getting more comments than nofollow blogs.

I prefer having quality comments or questions than “backlinking” comments.

I guess i am egoist because i love to create backlinks in dofollow blogs..

      Great point you have made.

    Hey there Kimi!

Awesome share. Yes, I’ve fixed the link for my commentLuv about a month back and all that time, Google was taking it. Hehe. It seems that we have to go to our feedburner settings and adjust it from there. When I found that out, I said, well doesn’t Google have enough traffic already? LOL

You’re doing a great job here my friend. Definitely had read the post by Suresh and Andy as well so I’m on my game on this one, but somehow, it seems that a lot of our friends have not fixed there commentluv or even utilize it to their advantage yet, so I’m passing along this post to them.

    Talk soon!

Yes, i have noticed alots of our blogging friends which are still using google feedproxy links.

I hope they will change the settings soon.

Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment!

      Take care, Thu.

If I was starting some of my sites all over again I would choose WordPress for all of them. Plugg-ins such as commentluv only work in WP. It is a bit unfortunate that custom made code sites do not have any chance of benefiting from commentluv. We have to reply only on normal backlinks. Nice post Kimi and I am really impressed by your site. I just visited today for first time! Alex Papa

    • Kimi says

      November 9, 2010 at 8:42 am

      Alex Papa,

Commentluv works with blogger blogspot as well, i reckon.

Yeah, i have learnt about Joomla, Drupal, but i ended to love and use WordPress.

Thanks for visiting and leaving nice words 😀

Another thing most people do not realize about the CommentLuv display of your latest posts is the little heart symbol…if you hover over it it shows visitors other places where your link has been inserted as well as other posts 😉

    • Kimi says

      November 9, 2010 at 8:38 am

I have known this feature, but i rarely use it.

    • Kimi says

      I don’t have one 🙂

Although i once ever installed it. I reduce some plugins usage at the moment, especially those which has javascript.

      Perhaps one day:D

      Cheers Caleb!

      Hey there,

It is not worthless. If you submit your site too google webmaster links, commentluv links are considered as backlinks. These shown on my account.

      Hi there,

Well, your site is very new, so it is normal to get less traffic, keep posting and get backlinks, and be patience is the most important 🙂

Good luck with your new blog!.

Hi Kimi. Thank you for posting this content rich article that will help a lot of newbies like me. Thanks that we were given an idea on how to build backlinks to drive traffic to our blog. This article really helps. God bless and hope to hear more from you.

    • Kimi says

      January 19, 2011 at 11:36 am

      Hi Rose,

I am happy you like what i offer..I have visited your blog, and you use blogspot free blog..

I recommend that you move to selfhosted wordpress, since wordpress.org has more free SEO plugins, and social media, including commenting plugins that are very helpful for getting traffic.

I am just concerning blogspot users that blog for years and suddenly their blogs are suspended without backups, see this forum thread..

If you have traffic, actually you can pay your one year webhosting’s cost in a month with AdSense alone (based on my income with this blog).

Let me know if you reconsider getting a selfhosted blog and import your blogspot content to your new blog someday, i will gladly help you for free!

Kind regards, and good luck with your new blog 🙂

      Kimi.

One way to find other blogs with comluv is by using til search line.

    “yourkeyword=”commentluv enabled”

This will give you blog with comluv and that are relevant to the keyword.

I sure didn’t appreciate the lengths I had to go to to get rid of all the pop-ups that came up from your site after I clicked on the “check keyword density” link. That was way too spammy for me. You have to agree, that is way overboard.

    • Kimi says

      May 27, 2011 at 6:39 am

      Tom,

Yes, I agree, but I hope that’s really a plugin which I recommend, because it is very good. Too bad that the site displaying many pop ups.

But considering I spent many hours to create video tutorials and post article, I guess I feel ok.

Thank you for the great feedback!

More sites have been using CommentLuv lately and I think it is a positive trend because the site owner is encouraging better comments in exchange for some link juice. My tip for site owners would be to write something just above the comment section discouraging the commenter from abusing the post/link.

I think Comment Luv has been one of the most important aspects of my link-building strategy. Commentluv is valuable for so many reasons. While it encourages commenters, I think it actually REDUCES spam comments because the link needs to be referring to a blog with real content for it to be effective.
